Version Five of Fringe Friday Vibes!
This feels like a milestone.

I like that you and I get to meet here every Friday.

Each Friday feels like a transition – thawing out from work and peeling into the weekend, but at the end of the day, we’re the same people on Saturday that we were on Wednesday; the same people Sunday that we were Friday.

I think about that a lot. One of our goals at Fringe is to change the way we think about things, and business is my wheelhouse. That changing of our costumes as we become our weekend selves always weirded me out. Why does being at work mean I act differently? A business or job is not an existence unto itself. We’re just people trying our best.

So here’s to you and me as the people we are regardless of they day of the week. Cause we see you as a human ever dang day. At Fringe, it ain’t business – it’s personal. And I’m so happy to have you along for the ride.

Oh, and here’s a sweet playlist too. Enjoy! And if you feel like it – shoot us a note, tag us in your weekend vibe (#fringestate), or give us a call. We’d be happy to talk you through your Monday.

Much love,
Ant

The Homies:

1. Raphael Castro
Strongest New Day in the World
Song: Karate Kid Soundtrack – You’re The Best
Why? Because it’s amazing and upbeat.

2. Abby Kramer
Medical Business Development
Song: John Mayer – Waiting on the World to Change
Oldie but goodie. Was John using psychic abilities to write a song 15 years ago that would be so applicable today?

3. Michael Benavidez
Fringe Representative – Texas

Song: HAIM – The Wire
Straight up these ladies just rock. This song is just funny to me and puts me in a good mood every time. Enjoy.

4. Genevieve Newton
Scientific Research Director
Song: David Gray – Sail Away
Poetry and music all at the same time.

5. Alyson Evans
CoCEO & Founder
Song: 4 Non Blondes – What’s Up?
I am dedicating my next 10 song choices to proving that 1992 was the greatest year of music releases. I welcome all challenges to this statement.

6. Michael Sierra
Video and Creative

Song: Elton John & Dua Lipa – Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)
This song has been on repeat in our house. Elton John will always be amazing.

7. Heather Cantor
Sales and Operations
Song: Lauryn Hill – Doo Wop
“How you gon’ win when when you ain’t right within?” just hits different now given world events!

8. Thomas Buxton
Marketing Activations Manager
Song: High Dive Heart – Misfit
Nice melody and the hook is a nice Fringe battle cry for the week. Don’t quit doin’ what you’re doin’ cause you’re different. ♥️

9. Joe LaVacca
Lead Educator
Song: KALEO – Alter Ego
Love the guitar on this song. Just make sure your speakers are big enough to handle it.

10. Heather Manning
Creative and Brand Management

Song: Black Pumas – Colors
No words necessary, just listen.

11. Anthony Caligaris
Co-CEO & Co-Founder
Song: Del Barber – Big Smoke
This song is mystical and nostalgic in a way that hits me right in the chest. There’s hope and a future in it; it just has such a grounding reality to it. Also the snare hit right after he says “shootin'” is one of my favorite parts in any song ever.

Anthony is convinced that there’s a better way. A better way to work, a better way to manage, and a better way to live. After 10 years pretending to be a sales dude, Anthony has spent the last 5 in management roles refining his perspective on how an organization should function. Excited to combine his background in economics with his desire for commerce to do good, Anthony is looking forward to Fringe creating a new business model focused on doing the right thing.
